1. Definitions & Scope of Application

  • User: Any natural or legal person using the BeJobs platform, including job seekers and employers.
  • Service Provider: BeJobs BV, with its registered office in Belgium.
  • Platform: The application and website enabling AI-driven and automated job matching.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all uses of the platform, including registration and related services.

02. Acceptance & Amendments

By using BeJobs, the user agrees to these Terms & Conditions. Amendments may occur for:

  • Legal requirements, platform improvements, or commercial reasons.
  • Users will be informed of updates via the app or by e-mail.
  • Substantial changes require explicit user approval.

If a user does not agree to the amended terms, they have the right to terminate their account before the effective date of such changes.

03. Services & Contract Formation

  • BeJobs provides automated matching of job seekers and job offers through AI and visual tools.
  • Screening and validation of profiles may occur via automated systems.
  • Employment contracts and administrative formalities are not part of BeJobs’ services.
  • BeJobs does not guarantee that any particular match, application, or hire will occur.
  • Any agreement between users (employers and job seekers) is concluded outside of BeJobs; BeJobs is not a party to such agreements.
  • BeJobs reserves the right to temporarily suspend its services for maintenance or updates without prior notice.

04. Account, Identity Verification & User Obligations

  • Users must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
  • BeJobs may conduct verification through external partners or tools.
  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their account credentials.
  • Accounts are personal and may not be shared or transferred.
  • In cases of suspected misuse or fraudulent activity, BeJobs may immediately suspend or block the account.

05.  Intellectual Property

  • All content, software, and data on BeJobs are the intellectual property of the Service Provider.
  • Users receive a personal, non-transferable right of use.
  • Uploaded content (CVs, profiles, visuals) remains the property of the user, but BeJobs receives a right of use within the platform.
  • The user declares that their uploaded content does not infringe any third-party rights.
  • It is strictly prohibited to reproduce, copy, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the website or app without BeJobs’ prior written consent.

Copyrights on Visual Content
BeJobs accepts no liability whatsoever for images uploaded or otherwise published by users through the platform. Users are solely responsible for complying with copyright, portrait, and other applicable laws and regulations concerning the visual content they upload.
BeJobs performs no prior control of such content and can therefore not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, legal action, or other consequences resulting from the use or publication of such images.

BeJobs also uses stock photos that may automatically be linked to specific jobs, sectors, or profiles. These images are for illustration purposes only and may differ from the actual situation or persons depicted. Such discrepancies are permissible and shall in no case give rise to any liability on the part of BeJobs. BeJobs makes reasonable efforts to ensure that the stock images and other visual materials it uses comply with applicable legal requirements regarding rights and licenses.

06.  Content & Moderation

  • BeJobs reserves the right to moderate or remove content in the following cases:
    • Content that is illegal.
    • Harmful or misleading information.
  • Users must not post discriminatory, offensive, or false information.
  • In cases of repeated violations, BeJobs may permanently delete the account.

Abuse and User Responsibility for Content
BeJobs aims to ensure that all content published on the platform serves its intended purpose — facilitating an efficient and relevant match between job seekers and employers.


Despite these efforts, BeJobs cannot guarantee that all user-submitted content aligns with this objective. Any misuse of the platform — intentional or unintentional — including but not limited to the publication of misleading, offensive, discriminatory, false, or morally objectionable information, remains the sole responsibility of the respective user.


BeJobs exercises no prior control over such content and cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage, moral or legal consequences arising therefrom.


Users who notice misuse, errors, or inappropriate content are encouraged to report it to support@bejobs.be, so BeJobs can take appropriate action.

07.  Liability & Indemnification

  • BeJobs is not liable for indirect damages such as loss of income.
  • Users indemnify BeJobs against any claims arising from their use of the platform or uploaded content.
  • BeJobs is only liable for direct damages resulting directly from proven gross negligence or willful misconduct.
  • The total liability of BeJobs is limited to the amount paid by the user for the service during the last 12 months (or €500 in the case of free use).
  • Technical failures, data loss, or temporary unavailability do not give rise to any right to compensation.

Additional Limitation of Liability
BeJobs shall in no event be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages — including, but not limited to, loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with the use of, or inability to use, the application, services, or information provided via the platform, whether foreseeable or not and regardless of the legal basis of any claim.Use of the application is entirely at the user’s own risk.

08.  Privacy & Data Protection

  • Data processing is carried out in accordance with the GDPR.
  • Personal data may be shared with partners under strict safeguards.
  • User rights (access, correction, deletion) are described in the Privacy Policy. BeJobs only processes data necessary for the performance of its services. More information is available in the separate Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

09.  Complaints & Disputes

  • Complaints may be submitted via support@bejobs.be.
  • BeJobs investigates reports and may impose sanctions.
  • Applicable law: Belgian law.
  • Competent court: Antwerp, Belgium.Consumers may also file a complaint through the European ODR Platform (https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/).

10.  Transfer of Rights

BeJobs may transfer contracts, intellectual property, and obligations without prior consent from users.

11.  Suspension & Termination

  • BeJobs may suspend or terminate accounts in case of violations of these Terms, unlawful activity, or abuse.
  • Employers and users may terminate their accounts through the platform.
  • Upon termination, all personal data will be deleted unless legal retention obligations apply.
  • Payments already made will not be refunded in cases of suspension due to a breach of these Terms.

12.  Modifications to the Service

  • BeJobs may modify or extend functionalities at any time.
  • Users will receive notifications regarding significant updates.
  • Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of such modifications

13.  Cookies & Tracking

  • BeJobs may use cookies for:
    • Functional purposes.
    • Analytics of user behaviour.
    • Personalisation and marketing.
  • Users may adjust their preferences via the Cookie Policy.

14.   Automated Processing & AI

BeJobs uses automated algorithms and data-driven models to match job seekers and employers as accurately as possible.This matching is based on search terms, behavioural indicators, profile characteristics, and other relevant data scores.

While BeJobs strives to provide optimal and relevant matches, users acknowledge that results may differ from expectations or reality. Such discrepancies are inherent in algorithmic systems and shall not give rise to any liability of BeJobs.

By using the platform, users accept this approach and its possible limitations.
Users have the right to request an explanation of automated decisions.
Requests for human intervention may be sent to support@bejobs.be.

AI is implemented in a GDPR-compliant manner, with transparency and non-discrimination as guiding principles.

15.  Final Provisions

  • Invalid provisions shall not affect the validity of the remaining clauses.
  • Communication by e-mail is considered legally binding.
  • By using BeJobs, the user also accepts the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between BeJobs and the user.
